Buy Your Dream Home as Investment

Yesterday, I had a meeting with our realtor. He told me that the Real Estate business is showing a good sign. More people are looking to purchase a home in fact, he  sold few houses, a good sign that business in the real estate is doing great.
The condo that we bought two years ago made a 30% profit if it is sold today. I met up with him yesterday to discuss about putting it up into the market. He brought some papers and we will have final meeting after we gave him some pictures of the house.

Real Estate business bounced back for good. Just two blocks away from our neighborhood, a housing complex will be constructed soon. That means, business are putting money into Real Estate again and people are back on buying houses again.

So if you are newly married, do not rely on renting apartments and condos. Save and buy your dream home. This is a good time to purchase your home as investment.

The Home Inspection

If you have recently been married and are lucky enough to be in a position to purchase a home you should consider a home inspection before your purchase.

Many people sign a waiver declining home inspection this could be a big mistake that could cost you thousands of dollars. The price of the home inspection could run between $260 up to $275 this is money well spent.

Why do I need a home inspection you might ask? A home inspection gives the buyer detailed information on the over all condition of the home before they purchase. A qualified inspector will take an in-depth look at your new home and will evaluate the physical condition and construction. For example the condition of the roof if there are any leaks which could cause problems such as mold. You can also identify items that need to be repaired or replaced. He may also estimate the remaining usefull life of a major system such as your hot water heater structure and finish.

It is your responsibility to be an informed buyer you have the right to carefully examine your new home with a qualified inspector. You may want to put into your contract that the sale of the home depends on the inspection. So before you jump into the biggest purchase of your life make sure you contact a dependable and qualified home inspector to have a look first.
