Buy Your Dream Home as Investment

Yesterday, I had a meeting with our realtor. He told me that the Real Estate business is showing a good sign. More people are looking to purchase a home in fact, he  sold few houses, a good sign that business in the real estate is doing great.

The condo that we bought two years ago made a 30% profit if it is sold today. I met up with him yesterday to discuss about putting it up into the market. He brought some papers and we will have final meeting after we gave him some pictures of the house.

Real Estate business bounced back for good. Just two blocks away from our neighborhood, a housing complex will be constructed soon. That means, business are putting money into Real Estate again and people are back on buying houses again.

So if you are newly married, do not rely on renting apartments and condos. Save and buy your dream home. This is a good time to purchase your home as investment.

Brian's Mancave

Guest post from: Steve Delaney:

Yesterday I went over to my buddy Brian's house to watch the game. He had just gotten a security system installed from home security systems Bedford in his house. He showed me all of the cool features that it had and it really made me want to get one. There had been a string of break ins in his neighborhood and he felt safer with a security system. I can't say that I blame him. He also went on and on about his new hot tub that he just had installed. This guys was living the dream, he has a motorcycle, a hot tub, a huge flat screen TV and a fully stocked bar in his man cave. I can't even convince my wife to let me have a man cave much less a motorcycle. We sat down to watch the game on his brand new reclining leather sofa, man I was in heaven or should I say man heaven. We grilled out porterhouse steaks on his new grill and they tasted like they had been cooked by the gods themselves.

My Shaggy Rug

If you are searching for a unique way to decorate your home, you might consider a shaggy rug. It will give any room a plush and cozy feeling. Shaggy rugs can make hardwood floors look softer. It also makes the stone floors more inviting and with a warm look. Many people use shaggy rugs in the living room, bedrooms and bathrooms. If you want to give a touch of luxury and style to any room, a shaggy rug will do the trick. Can you imagine how it would look in front of your fireplace? You cannot beat that plush look that it brings to any room.I have a shaggy rug in my bedroom exactly like the picture above. It has a higher pile that makes the rug looks more elegant. This type of rug is very easy to clean and requires little maintenance. I simply take the rug outside, shake it and normally this is all I have to do. For deep cleaning, I have it done professionally. For safety reasons, you should use a double sided carpet tape on the under-side to keep the shaggy rug from sliding and it prevents accident. You can never go wrong when using a shaggy rug and this is always on style.

Cookware

After your wedding you have settled in with your husband and are reviewing your wedding gifts and preparing your thank you notes. You soon discover you have received several pieces of stainless steel cookware. You are very fortunate as this type of cookware is the most popular style available.

Stainless steel cookware is well made and will resist many scratches dings and dents. And will remain beautiful for many years. The cookware is also very durable it may be use for all different types of cooking and will resist corroding.

This type of cookware requires little maintenance as it may be washed simply with soap or water it can even be put into your dishwasher with no problem.

You know there is an old saying you get what you pay for this is very true when purchasing cookware I can't even count the number of cheap set of cookware that I have purchased in the past and have worn out quickly it was just a waste of money. So when buying your cookware I would suggest stainless steel and the best grade that you can possibly afford as in most cases it will last for many years. Some expensive sets of stainless steel cookware are even guaranteed for life. So when buying your cookware do extensive research and buy the best possible product.

Your First Apartment Together

After the wedding you will need a place to live. So you will begin your search for the ideal apartment. This can be frustrating and stressful trying to find that ideal apartment that fits both of your needs. If you are working on a tight budget don't get discouraged you have some options open to you. Even if the first apartment does not meet your exact criteria see if you can sign a short lease to give you the possibility of moving up later. Many landlords will give the option for a seven month lease or one year.

Before you go apartment hunting you should make a list of the doe's and don'ts that you are looking for in an apartment. You should make priorities what you really have to have and what items you can live without.

One of the main concerns you should be looking for is the size of the apartment you want a one-bedroom, two-bedroom, how many bathrooms and etc. Also the location of the apartment is very important is it close to your work can you walk there or is it just a short drive these are all considerations you must consider. Sometimes it is more economical to rent an apartment with all utilities included as this will save you from having to put deposits on the utilities and cable. You also want to check if you put a security deposit that it is refundable if there's no damage upon moving out or within 30 days. Another major concern would be the laundry facilities whether you have a washer and dryer hookup in the apartment or a convenient laundry room that is safe and secure.

So with these tips in mind you might want to contact a reputable real estate company that handles apartment rentals as they generally will have a wide variety to select from in your area. Good luck in your search.

Home Mortgage

Planning a wedding is very stressful but I think purchasing a home beat it by a long shot. Buying a home is one of the most exciting objective in a person's life. I remember when I purchase my first condo and I could not believe that it's mine. In fact, I had trouble sleeping for few days thinking about my first real estate property. It is like a wedding which is a very emotional experience and very personal. Anyway, if you are planning to buy a home, make sure that your credit history is good.

A person with a good FICO score will naturally have less stress than one with poor credit. If you have a credit score of 700 or over you could encounter some problems but only minor ones that could be resolved quickly as this is an excellent credit rating. But, if your credit is bad, put aside your fears. Even if you have a poor credit rating, filed bankruptcy or gone through a foreclosure, it does not mean you cannot buy a home. You most certainly can buy a home with bad credit but you will be paying more than a person who has an excellent credit.

If you have poor credit, you must do your homework when purchasing a home. You must do research on lender companies which are known as hard money lenders. They may require you to put down between 20 and 35% of the selling price. Another avenue would be to check out the guidelines for an FHA loan. If you qualify, you could put down as little as 3.5% . Some lender's interest rate will be very high and the loan terms are not as favorable because they could contain a pre-payment penalty and could be adjustable. Just make sure that you know your financial responsibility when you purchase a house. In that way, you will not be pinned in a money pit.

Interesting Activity

When I visited the family of my sister, I noticed that my nephew was playing a game on the TV monitor. I was curious and asked him what he was doing and he replied that he was playing Free Online Games. He seemed to be having a good time. As I watched him play, I was fascinated at how much he really enjoyed playing the different games that were offered in the program. I think it was a fantastic way to keep the children occupied with something that they really enjoy.

Parents will have the peace of mind just by knowing the kids are at home and having a good time. Online Games helped develop the mind and keeps a person on his toes. Parents can learn to play the Free Games too for there are so many selections to choose from. With that being said, it can create a good quality time spent together with the members of the family. I'm sure everyone will enjoy the healthy competition with each other. There is nothing better than quality time spent with your family.

Best Kichen Design at IKEA

Part of having a family is buying a home. A house where you will nurture your children and create happy memories together. If you have a home but plan to renovate your kitchen according to your own design, you should visit IKEA Home Furnishing.

This is my favorite kitchen design with stainless appliances, granite counter top, spacious island, good size cabinet for storage purposes and a glass top oven. You will be comfortable to bring this space in your home, just a thought.
