The centerpiece will contain many different types of flowers and other decorations attached to it. When the big day comes and your flowers are delivered you may discover during the reception that many of the flowers you have chosen are not included in it. Substituted are less expensive flowers or less flowers than what you had agreed to.
How do I protect myself from such a scam? One way when making up your contract with the florist be sure to state what type of flowers exactly will make up the centerpieces how many flowers will be included in the centerpiece and how many centerpieces will be supplied to the wedding. Also check with your friends and neighbors if they have used the florist before and if they perform well. You could check with the Better Business bureau and see if there are any complaints against the company. Remember companies catering to weddings the bottom line is profit and anyway they can cut costs and you are not aware of it benefits them

The more money you save on your wedding you will be able to spend on important things like a home down payment.
