My Favorite Place For Cake

Thanks for the guest post by Esteban Vinson

I'm a cake fanatic. I absolutely love both eating and making cakes. And my favorite place to go out for dessert is The Cake Place.

The Cake Place is an adorable little bakery local to me that not many people know about. They make the most amazing cakes in all kinds of interesting flavors like coffee, butter rum, and papaya. But my favorite is their mint chocolate cake.

We went to the Cake Place on Saturday. It was a rushed night because we were going to the movies at 8:00 and we'd only just gotten home from the vet. But we wanted cake, so we grabbed our purses, set th! e home security alarm (atlantahomesecurity.com), and dashed out the door.

When we got there, they actually only had a couple types of cake left. It was a Friday, and I guess they'd had kind of a mad rush at the lunch hour. Thankfully they did have some mint chocolate cake left.

Alison decided to be adventurous and try their caramel apple cake since she doesn't like mint, and the only other choice was coconut, which she is allergic to.

We had to eat quickly, which was a shame, but it sure was tasty--as it always is at The Cake Place.
