Not to mention just watching a beautiful sunset while sipping on your piƱa colada. If you enjoy water sports, the island of Maui is definitely fit the bill. You can go kite surfing and windsurfing or scuba diving too.I'm sure you would like to visit Pearl Harbor and the World War II Memorial of the soldiers and sailors who died during the war. This is a crucial part of our American history and heritage. The tours at Pearl Harbor are FREE but, they do draw huge crowds so you must go early. Of course, visiting Hawaii would not be complete without visiting the Diamond head. Diamond head is an extinct volcano that rises 761 to the summit and it will take you approximately 45 min. to hike to the top. When visiting, you should at least bring one bottle of water with you. Tourist who reach the summit are rewarded by spectacular 360° view of O'ahu. No trip to Hawaii would be complete without visiting Waikiki Beach too.
